Life has been a bit crazy lately. Eric is in the thick of his seminary classes now, and I’ve been kept pretty busy working on this blog. About a week ago, we decided to break away from our responsibilities and have a good old fashion date night.
One of my favorite people to hike with is my younger sister Lorianne. She’s always up for challenge, low maintenance, and honesty she’s pretty hard core. Last summer my dad and her traveled to the other side of the world, Japan, for a couple weeks. It had always been her dream to visit and she absolutely loved it. Of course, she couldn’t go all the way to Japan and not hike one of the most famous mountains in the world, Mt. Fuji. She hiked the mountain successfully and returned to Orlando with some amazing experiences in her quiver.
Its April! With a new month comes a fresh start, and that means jotting down some personal monthly goals. Goals have been so valuable in my life. They keep me motivated and proactive, and if I accomplish them, they give me a reason to celebrate!
Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus! I hope your Easter Sunday is filled with joy and thankfulness as we celebrate the gift of salvation God has given us through His Son. It is so wonderful that we can relax and trust in Jesus, His promises, and His word. He is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25).
