May Monthly Goals

May is here! New month = fresh goals, am I right? Gosh, April whizzed by, I barely remember all that I did. In these coming couple months I’ve got some trips planned, which is so exciting! But, it also means I need to be very proactive about working ahead on things due while I’m away, as well as travel preparations (which I totally love).

Last month I had 5 great goals. Some I did really well on, and a couple were a little harder to follow through on (i.e. read 1 book for pleasure). But, I’m not going to dwell on what I could’ve, should’ve, would’ve done. This is a fresh start, and I’m ready for it!

May Monthly Goals

1. Continue to develop what my time along with God looks like.

I’d like to try a few new things pertaining to my time with the Lord each day. Hopefully at the end of the month, I’ll have a better grasp of ways my heart best worships and focuses on Him.

2. Drink lots more water each day.

In the mornings I have great plans of drinking several glasses of water throughout the day. Then, as the day wears on, staying hydrated flutters to the back of my mind and I forget! Unfortunately, when this happens I often end the day with a headache and feeling fatigued. Let’s see if we can change that.

3. Document and save more of the little moments.

Our days are filled with ups and down, trials and triumphs, but let’s not forget the little things. I’m going to try harder to document and capture some of those moments. This may mean lugging my camera around a bit more, or sharing it to my Instagram feed so when I need a pick-me-up I can scroll through and see the moments that meant something.

4. Strive to build a routine and stick with it.

In my last post I shared some about how I’m trying to add a little bit of organization to my life. This month I will be gone for 9 days on a trip, but if I can establish a bit of a routine before I leave, it might be easier to adjust back to normal life if I know what to expect.

Well, this month I’ve only got 4 main goals, but they’re pretty hefty. Let’s see if I can make these happen!
