Of all the beautiful National Parks that I’ve been to so far, for some reason Zion National Park keeps calling me back. Maybe it’s the deep red color of the canyon walls, or the versatility of hikes and activities available, or the peaceful and inviting lawn of the Zion Lodge. Whatever it is, it’s got a piece of my heart.
Lorianne and I recently returned from our 10 day road trip through the Southwest, and goodness it was a trip to remember! It was so fun traveling around with Lori; hiking, camping, and making spontaneous stops along the way.
In just a couple days, my sister and I will be heading out west to go hiking and camping. We’ve been discussing and planning this trip for almost a year and a half! Sometimes it takes a while to make dream trips happen, and when your trips include stops at National Parks, planning ahead is always a good idea.
Michigan is such a beautiful state with its rolling hills, tall trees, wildlife, and perfect, soft grass. It’s the kind of state where wildflowers line the streets in spring time, and you can take a long, quiet walk and stumble upon only a few farm houses.
